The ATX® Octa-Dumbbell-Set XL (2 × 36 kg) can be expanded to a higher training weight thanks to its modular system. In principle, up to 65 kg per dumbbell is even possible.
To expand to 50 kg per dumbbell, you will need the following accessories:
12 × ATX® Octa Weight Plates 2x 2 kg: 6 additional weight plates per dumbbell respectively, distributed evenly on both sides.
4 × ATX® Octa Thread Collars 4 Pieces - 172 mm long: These replace the existing shorter thread collars and are intended for the weight range of 39 to 65 kg.
2 × ATX® Add-On Flex Plate - Pair – 0.5 kg: Two flexible additional weights per dumbbell respectively, to achieve the desired weight of exactly 50 kg.
Important: The longer thread collars weigh 1.5 kg each instead of 1 kg. Therefore, with the additional OCTA weight plates, you initially get 49 kg per dumbbell. Using the flexible additional weights, the training weight can then be increased to 50 kg.
The regular OCTA weight increments above 36 kg are in two-kilogram steps, for example 39, 41, 43, 45, 47, 49 and 51 kg.
